About Us

Planète Disque BVBA, based in Brussels since 2010, was originally created in 2007 in France in Angers. Its owner, Gerben Dijkstra, had the idea to sell record sleeves in addition to his vinyl record store "Passion Disque".

Fans of analog music will find at Planète Disque everything they need to protect, store, transport, clean and ship vinyl records. Thanks to our own warehouse near the south of Brussels where we store more than 500 references permanently, we deliver quickly. We ship the products well protected in sturdy boxes.

Plastic record sleeves

Soft polyethylene sleeves, crystalline polypropylene sleeves, rigid PVC sleeves, in different thicknesses, without or with flap, for single, double or triple albums. Planète Disque offers the most varied choice of plastic sleeves on the market for 33 rpm, 45 rpm and 78 rpm.

Inner sleeves

Planète Disque is an importer of Mobile Fidelity sleeves, distributor of Nagaoka sleeves and a supplier of paper sleeves and poly-lined paper sleeves made in Germany.

Transport and storage

We offer professional Flight Cases from Reloop, plastic cases from Really Useful Box, nylon bags and DJ trolleys from MAGMA, paper bags (printed and unprinted) in the size of a vinyl record, wooden crates, solid cardboard boxes etc.

Shipping

Shipping records is an art. When the record is sealed, it must remain in its cardboard jacket during shipping. A firm and solid packaging is therefore essential to prevent the record from damaging the cardboard sleeve during transport. At Planète Disque, you will find a wide range of shipping boxes, unmatched on the market. Many of our cardboard boxes are "FSC mix 70%" certified, which means that they are made of at least 70% recycled material. If you need advice on shipping vinyl records, please contact us.

Cleaning

To clean your records, Planète Disque provides you with a wide range of brushes, our microfibre cloth, alcohol-free products such as l'Art du Son, with alcohol such as Tonar's QS Audio and Clearaudio but also the Knosti cleaning device, not to mention our own Vinyl Gel Cleaner for cleaning very dusty records.

Many expeditions

Planète Disque's customers are mainly located in France and also in the Benelux. Planète Disque sends out more than 25,000 parcels per year in cooperation with its transport providers GLS, DPD and Chronopost.
