Flat, heavy paper shipping envelope with an adhesive strip, designed for one 12-inch LP. Its shape and colour give the shipment the appearance of a large letter.
Important: do not place the record directly inside the envelope. Use one or two cardboard stiffeners, ref. 1056, and put the record and stiffener or stiffeners together in a plastic protective sleeve, such as our ref. 1000A or ref. 1020. The sleeve keeps everything together, while the stiffeners add rigidity and help protect the corners of the record sleeve against knocks and bending.
This envelope is intended for flat shipments. Eligibility for letter postage depends on the weight and dimensions of the complete shipment and on the carrier’s conditions. Check these before shipping.
Envelope dimensions: 344 × 400 × 3 mm.
Pack size: 25 envelopes.
Weight per pack: approximately 2,570 g.
The example photo shows the envelope with a record and one stiffener. Place them together in a plastic protective sleeve before shipping.

We bought these envelopes from you, but in reality they are very thin and are only suitable for sending paper. Immediately after shipping the first records, we received complaints from our customers and suffered financial losses. You are deceiving people when you say that these envelopes are reliable—they are made of thin cardboard. You should be ashamed of such packaging material.

Thank you for your message. I’m sorry to hear about your experience. We have sold more than 300,000 of these envelopes since 2012 and do not normally receive complaints about them. If a product regularly causes problems for our customers, we remove it from our range. These envelopes are intended for customers who want their shipment to have the appearance of letter post. An LP should not be placed directly inside: it needs to be protected between two cardboard stiffeners, such as our 1056 stiffeners. We will make this requirement clearer in the product description. Bonjour, oui, un double vinyle avec une pochette Gatefold rentre sans problème dans cette enveloppe. Il reste même suffisamment de place pour ajouter une plaque de calage 1056.

Il prodotto che voi vendete comprende busta spedibile e piastra interna protettiva o bisogna aggiungere una busta esterna extra? E nel caso la fornite? Grazie.

Buongiorno, grazie per il suo messagio. Questa busta è molto robusta e una piastra di riempimento (articolo 1056) non è normalmente necessaria. Tuttavia, la raccomandiamo per questa busta per garantire una maggiore protezione. Idealmente, la piastra dovrebbe essere collocata con il disco in vinile in una custodia protettiva di plastica, e poi in questa busta.
